Deerfield Massachusetts
Deerfield is located in a historically and culturally
rich area. Early American Colonists settled this area
in 1660 experiencing much conflict with the native population
of Pocumtuck, Mohawk, and Iroquois Indians. Deerfield is the site of the "Battle of Bloody Brook" as well as the "Raid on Deerfield" battle between early european settlers & native americans.
Conveniently located off I-91, you will find the peaceful
refuge of farmlands, woods, gardens and open vistas. Local destinations
include Deerfield Academy, Yankee Candle, Historic Deerfield,
and Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory. We are a 10-20
minute drive from the Five Colleges, several fine independent
schools and the many attractions of Amherst, Northampton
and Greenfield including music, theatre and dining.
