Hadley Massachusetts
Centrally located in the Pioneer Valley (and five college
area), Hadley is a place of natural beauty and a rich
history dating back to the year 1659. Hadley is the
site of colonial houses and cemeteries as well as museums
containing artifacts from days gone by.
Since its founding, over three hundred years ago,
Hadley has grown both residentially and commercially,
while retaining a magnificent landscape of some of the
valleys most bountiful farmland and scenic views. It
has the largest number of acres in agriculture in the
Pioneer Valley, including crops of corn, potatoes, tobacco
and other vegetables. Malls and commercial businesses
lie along Russell Street on Route 9 just east of the
town center.
