Music in Deerfield

Valley Classical Concerts (formerly Music in Deerfield), a non-profit organization, has brought first-rate performances of chamber music to the Pioneer Valley since 1979. They are pledged to presenting a mix of established musicians and exciting early-career ensembles. Valley Classical Concerts presents both mainstream classical music and works of 20th and 21st century composers.


Though first established for performances at the BSO’s summer home, the Tanglewood Festival Chorus was soon playing a major role in the BSO’s subscription season as well as BSO concerts at Carnegie Hall; the ensemble now performs year-round with the Boston Symphony and Boston Pops.
